Focus and Scope

Innovative Educational Technologies and Pedagogies is a peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to the study, development, and application of innovative technologies and pedagogical approaches in education. The journal focuses on research that explores how emerging technologies, instructional innovations, and inclusive pedagogical practices contribute to improving teaching, learning, assessment, and educational outcomes across diverse educational contexts.

The journal welcomes theoretical, empirical, methodological, and applied research that contributes to the advancement of technology-enhanced education and innovative pedagogical practices.

The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to:

  1. Artificial Intelligence in Education, including AI tutors, generative AI, intelligent tutoring systems, adaptive learning, and AI-supported teaching and assessment;
  2. Virtual and Augmented Reality Learning, including VR/AR applications, immersive learning environments, simulation-based learning, and extended reality in education;
  3. Digital and Blended Learning, including online learning, hybrid education, learning management systems, mobile learning, and digital learning environments;
  4. Innovative Pedagogies, including student-centered learning, active learning, collaborative learning, personalized learning, project-based learning, and technology-supported pedagogical models;

The journal particularly encourages interdisciplinary research that connects education, pedagogy, technology, psychology, learning sciences, and digital innovation. Contributions should demonstrate a clear connection between technological innovation and educational theory, practice, or outcomes.

The journal is published biannually, in April and October.
